15.6" FHD 165Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13420H processor with 8 cores and 12 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU carrying 6GB GDDR6 memory. A 165Hz IPS panel and 32GB DDR5 4800 RAM complete the core specification.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers who want a high refresh screen and plenty of memory for modern titles at 1080p will find the 165Hz display and 32GB DDR5 a strong match. Users who need Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for external GPUs or fast docks also benefit from the single USB-C port. Anyone requiring a card reader, fingerprint login or a higher colour gamut than 45% NTSC should consider other models.

The spec that decides fit

The 1TB PCIe SSD is the single figure that determines whether this unit fits your workflow; it holds a large game library and project files without relying on external storage.

Questions about this item

What are the exact chassis dimensions of the Acer Nitro V 15 to confirm it fits my bag?

The laptop measures 14.26 x 9.44 x 0.93 inches and weighs 4.66 pounds, so check your sleeve internal clearance against those figures.

Which screws and steps are required to access the DDR5 slots, and what is the common mistake?

Remove all base screws, then gently pry the bottom panel from the front edge; the common mistake is forcing the panel before every hidden screw is out, which snaps the plastic clips.

When will the 1 TB PCIe SSD or 32 GB DDR5 4800 memory need replacement or health checks?

Run a SMART check on the SSD annually and monitor RAM errors via Windows Memory Diagnostic; replace the drive if reallocated sectors rise or the modules if persistent correctable errors appear.
