Acer Nitro V 15 i5-13420H RTX 4050

This Acer Nitro V 15 gaming laptop pairs an Intel Core i5-13420H 8-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 GPU. It ships with 32GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. The 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel runs at 165Hz with anti-glare coating. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Sustained load behaviour

The 8-core hybrid CPU combines 4 P-cores at 2.1 GHz and 4 E-cores at 1.5 GHz, boosting up to 4.6 GHz under turbo. The 165Hz display and 6 GB GDDR6 video memory help maintain smooth frame rates during extended sessions. Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 MT7920 keep data flowing without bottlenecking the GPU.

Install and common issues

The chassis measures 14.26 x 9.44 x .93 inches and weighs 4.66 pounds, so it fits most 15-inch bags. Original seals are opened by engineers for the RAM and SSD upgrade, then re-tested for defects. No SD card reader is present, and the fingerprint reader is omitted, so plan for external login or storage peripherals.
