Acer Nitro V 16 Gaming Laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 is a 16.0 inch gaming laptop with a WUXGA display running at 180 Hz. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads reaching 5.1 GHz. An NVIDIA RTX 5050 graphics card with 8GB of video memory handles dedicated graphics workloads. The system includes 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1024GB SSD running Windows 11 Home.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits gamers and creators who need a high-refresh 16:10 screen, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a dedicated RTX 5050 GPU in a single package. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a touchscreen panel, a fingerprint reader, or a lighter chassis for frequent travel should look at other models.

Deciding specification: 180 Hz 16:10 display

The 1920 x 1200 resolution at 180 Hz on a 16.0 inch IPS panel is the specification that determines fit. It delivers smooth motion for competitive gaming and extra vertical space for productivity, but the panel is not touch-enabled and the native resolution is fixed at WUXGA.

Questions about this item

Will the 1920 x 1200 180 Hz panel and 8 GB RTX 5050 GPU still run well with my older 60 Hz external monitor?

The laptop drives its own 16.0" 180 Hz display and can mirror or extend to a 60 Hz external screen; the GPU handles both without issue.

How can I confirm the 32 GB DDR5 and 1024 GB SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager > Performance and verify 32 GB DDR5 memory speed and 1024 GB storage capacity are shown.

Does the bundle include only the mouse pad or also a power adapter and cables?

The bundle adds a mouse pad; the laptop ships with its standard power adapter and cable inside the box.
