Ready for demanding workloads

The Acer Nitro V 16 is a gaming laptop built around an Intel Core 7 240H processor with 10 cores and 16 threads. It targets users who need strong multi-threaded performance in a portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro for professional features.

Graphics performance decided by RTX 5050

The single specification that determines suitability is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8 GB of video memory. This graphics card sets the ceiling for gaming frame rates and GPU-accelerated creative tasks. Buyers who need higher VRAM or a faster GPU tier should look elsewhere.

Memory and storage headroom

The configuration provides 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD, upgraded from the base 16 GB and 512 GB. This capacity comfortably handles heavy multitasking, large project files and modern game installations. It runs out when workloads exceed 64 GB RAM or require multiple terabytes of fast local storage.

Questions about this item

How does the 5.2 GHz boost clock on the Core 7 240H behave when the laptop is under sustained gaming load?

The processor can reach 5.2 GHz on up to 10 cores for short bursts; during extended sessions the cooling system manages thermals so clocks settle at a stable level that keeps frame rates consistent.

What external displays can the HDMI port drive with the RTX 5050 graphics?

The HDMI connection supports one external monitor at the panel's native resolution and refresh rate; the two USB-C 3.2 ports can each drive an additional display when using compatible adapters.

Will the 14.17 x 10.81 x .96 inch chassis fit in a standard 16-inch laptop sleeve?

Yes, the dimensions match typical 16-inch sleeve sizing; the .96 inch thickness and 5.29 pound weight also allow it to sit comfortably in most backpack laptop compartments.
