Acer ODK540 4-in-1 USB-C Hub

The Acer ODK540 is a compact 4-in-1 USB-C hub finished in grey with a 90-degree connector. It provides dual HDMI 2.0 outputs, a USB-A 3.0 port for 5Gbps data transfer, and a 100W Power Delivery pass-through port for charging the host laptop. Designed for plug-and-play use, it suits professionals needing portable dual-monitor connectivity.

Check USB-C Port Capabilities First

Before ordering, verify that your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video output, data transfer, and Power Delivery charging. The hub is not compatible with ports lacking DP Alt Mode. Both HDMI ports support up to 4K at 60Hz, but the final resolution depends on your laptop's bandwidth and monitor specifications. Mac users should note that macOS only mirrors content across external displays.

Ideal for Dual-Monitor Mobile Work

This hub suits users who need to connect two 4K displays and peripherals through a single USB-C port while keeping their laptop charged at up to 90W. It is not for buyers whose devices lack DP Alt Mode video support or who require independent extended desktops on macOS. An external 100W power adapter and cable are required for the pass-through charging function.

Questions about this item

What cables or power adapters come with the Acer ODK540 hub and what must I provide?

The package contains the hub only. A 100W USB-C power adapter and cable are not included and are required for the 100W pass-through charging feature.

Should I choose this model if I need dual 4K monitors at 60Hz and 5Gbps data?

Yes. This ODK540 model delivers dual HDMI 2.0 ports at 4K 60Hz, a USB-A 3.0 port at 5Gbps, and 100W PD charging in a single grey 90-degree unit.

What does the 100W power delivery figure mean when I connect my laptop?

The hub passes up to 90W to the host laptop when a 100W charger is connected, provided the laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery and DP Alt Mode.
