5-in-1 USB-C Hub with 4K@60Hz

The Acer ODK5U0 expands a single USB-C port into a compact workstation. It adds an HDMI output capable of 4K at 60 Hz, a USB-C 3.0 data port at 5 Gbps, a USB-A 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port for peripherals. Up to 100 W of Power Delivery pass-through keeps the host laptop charged while the hub is in use.

Professionals needing 4K@60Hz video and 100W PD

This hub suits users whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery, such as MacBook, iPad Pro, iPhone 16/17 Pro Max, Surface, Dell XPS and ThinkPad owners. Buyers whose USB-C port only carries data or charging will not get video output. It is not for setups requiring Ethernet, SD card slots or multiple external displays.

Plug-and-play with aluminium housing

The aluminium shell aids heat dissipation and the hub works without drivers on supported devices. Installation is as simple as connecting the hub to a compatible USB-C port and attaching an HDMI cable. The most common issue is no video signal because the host port lacks DisplayPort Alt Mode; full 90 W charging also requires a 100 W PD charger and cable, which are not included.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode for the HDMI output to work?

Yes, the host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode; ports limited to charging or data only will not drive the HDMI display.

Will the hub’s USB-A 3.0 port run at 5Gbps when I connect an older USB 2.0 flash drive?

The drive will operate at its native USB 2.0 speed; the hub’s USB-A 3.0 port is backward compatible and does not force a higher rate.

How can I confirm the HDMI output is running at 4K 60Hz after I plug everything in?

Open your operating system’s display settings and verify the external monitor is detected at 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate selected.
