Genuine Osram P-VIP Lamp Module

The Acer P1183 projector lamp ships as a complete housing with a new Osram P-VIP 140-215W bulb inside. It is built for owners of compatible Acer projectors who need a drop-in replacement without separate bulb handling.

Rated Output and Economy Headroom

The lamp operates between 140 and 215 watts and delivers 3000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode. Heavy daily use in bright rooms will reach the normal-life limit sooner, while intermittent presentations in darker spaces can stretch toward the economy figure.

Direct Swap for Worn Originals

This module replaces a dim or failed factory lamp in the same projector, restoring original brightness and colour balance. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing lamp has passed its rated hours or shows noticeable lumen loss; it is not a brightness increase beyond the projector’s native specification.

Questions about this item

Will the P1183 lamp module fit the same housing slot as my current Acer projector lamp?

The P1183 is a fully assembled bulb-and-housing module built to the EC.K0700.001 specification, so it installs directly into the original lamp compartment without adapters.

How can I confirm the Osram P-VIP bulb is igniting and running at the correct 140-215W range after installation?

The projector's lamp-hour counter will reset to zero and the on-screen menu will report normal or economy mode, showing 3000 or 4000 hours remaining respectively.

Does the box include only the lamp module or are extra cables or filters supplied?

The shipment contains the complete P1183 lamp module with the Osram P-VIP bulb pre-mounted in its housing; no separate cables, filters or tools are included.
