Predator Helios Neo 16S AI

This Acer gaming laptop pairs a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. The 16.0 inch OLED panel delivers 2560x1600 resolution at 240Hz. It ships with Windows 11 Home and 16GB of DDR5 memory. The system targets players who want high refresh rates in a portable chassis.

Capacity and headroom

The 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides fast storage for games and applications. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory handles modern titles at 2560x1600, though heavy multitasking or memory intensive workloads may benefit from an upgrade. The RTX 5060 includes 8GB of GDDR7 video memory for texture heavy scenes. Battery capacity is 74 WHr.

Connectivity and input

Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless links while a RJ-45 port adds wired networking. Video output uses HDMI and two USB 3.2 Type-C ports. An SD card reader and a headphone microphone combo jack round out the physical interfaces. The RGB keyboard and integrated webcam complete the default input setup.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR5 SO-DIMM modules work if I want to add more memory to the 16GB already installed?

The laptop uses DDR5 SO-DIMM memory running at the standard DDR5 speed, so any compatible DDR5 SO-DIMM kit will work alongside the factory 16GB.

How can I verify the 240Hz OLED panel is actually running at 240Hz after I set up Windows 11 Home?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and confirm the refresh rate dropdown shows 240Hz for the built-in 2560x1600 screen.

Does the box include an SD card for the built-in reader or do I need to buy one separately?

The package contains the laptop, 230W power supply and documentation; an SD card is not included and must be purchased separately.
