16-inch WQXGA Gaming Laptop

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE PT516-52s-73YD is a 16-inch gaming and creator laptop built around a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. A 16.0" WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS panel runs at 240Hz with 500 nit brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and NVIDIA G-SYNC. The system ships with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4x4 SSD.

Creators and Competitive Gamers

This machine suits users who need high refresh-rate colour accuracy for creative work and low-latency response for competitive titles. The 16:10 aspect ratio and DCI-P3 gamut help with timeline editing and colour grading, while the 240Hz panel and G-SYNC reduce motion blur in fast shooters. Buyers who want more than 16GB of system memory or who require a larger internal drive should look elsewhere. The soldered LPDDR5 design limits memory upgrades to the factory maximum of 32GB.

Desktop Replacement Build

Two Thunderbolt 4-capable USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port handle external GPUs, fast storage arrays and high-resolution monitors without a dock. Killer DoubleShot Pro combines Ethernet E3100 and Wi-Fi 6E AX1675 so wired and wireless links can run simultaneously with traffic prioritisation. The 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow guidance and liquid metal on the CPU keep thermals in check during sustained loads, freeing desk space that a separate tower and monitor would occupy.
