16-inch 165 Hz QXGA gaming laptop

The Acer Triton 500 SE-16 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Laptop GPU and 64GB DDR4 memory. A 16.0-inch 2560x1600 display running at 165 Hz delivers smooth motion for competitive play and colour-critical work. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro on a 4TB PCIe NVMe array. It targets users who need high refresh-rate visuals and multi-threaded compute in a single chassis.

230 W adapter and 99 Whr battery

A 230 W power supply feeds the 8-core CPU and RTX 3070 graphics while charging the 4-cell 99 Whr battery. Under typical mixed loads the cooling solution manages thermals without excessive fan noise. The 5.4 lb chassis remains stable on a desk during extended sessions. Power draw scales with the 4.6 GHz turbo ceiling and GDDR6 video memory activity.

Atlas backpack with anti-RFID pocket

The bundled Atlas backpack adds a padded notebook compartment, three zippered sections and a water-resistant 1680D polyester shell. An anti-RFID theft compartment shields cards and passports during travel. These features let the user carry the laptop, power brick and peripherals in one organised bag. The pack is sized for the 10.3-inch width of the Triton 500 SE-16.

Questions about this item

Will the 64GB of DDR4 memory and 4TB of NVMe storage be recognised immediately, or must I configure anything in Windows?

The system ships with Windows 10 Pro already installed and the 64GB DDR4 plus 2x2TB PCIe NVMe drives are tested by the builder, so the full capacity is visible at first boot.

Can the 16.0 inch 2560x1600 165Hz panel drive an external 4K display at high refresh rates for sim racing?

The HDMI port and two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 ports connect directly to the RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 GPU, supporting 4K output at up to 165Hz depending on the cable and monitor.

What does the 99 WHr battery and 230W power supply mean for real-world gaming away from a wall socket?

The 4-cell 99 WHr battery powers the 165Hz display and i7-11800H CPU; expect roughly one to two hours under heavy GPU load, while the 230W adapter recharges the pack in under two hours.
