Replacement lamp for Acer X1161-3D projectors

This 180W module fits the Acer X1161-3D model and arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is designed for straightforward installation without additional tools or alignment steps. The unit is supplied new and ready for immediate use in compatible projectors.

Genuine Osram P-VIP bulb inside a factory housing

The assembly uses an Osram P-VIP 180W bulb mounted in its original housing, matching the specifications of the lamp originally supplied with the projector. This combination maintains the rated output and colour performance the projector was calibrated for. No separate bulb handling or housing reuse is required during replacement.

Rated 2500 hours in normal mode

Lamp life varies with the projector's selected power setting, reaching up to 4000 hours when economy mode is active. Operating the projector continuously at full brightness will reduce the interval between replacements. The module contains no user-serviceable components and must be replaced as a complete unit when the lamp reaches end of life.

Questions about this item

When will the Osram P-VIP 180W bulb inside the X1161-3D module need replacing?

The lamp is rated for 2,500 hours in normal mode or 4,000 hours in economy mode before a replacement module is required.

Which limit appears first when the projector runs continuously at full brightness?

The 2,500-hour normal-mode lamp life is the first wear limit reached under sustained full-power operation.

How much power does the lamp draw and how much heat must the projector dissipate during all-day use?

The lamp consumes 180W, so the projector's cooling system must handle that thermal load continuously while the unit is running.
