Ready-to-install replacement lamp

The Acer X1230PS lamp module arrives with a new Philips UHP 189W bulb already mounted in its housing. It is built for owners of compatible Acer projectors who need a direct swap without handling a bare bulb. Buyers who want a bare bulb only, or who need a lamp for a different projector series, should look elsewhere.

Wattage and rated hours

The single specification that confirms fit is the 189W power rating matched to the original design. Rated life reaches 3000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in economy mode, giving a clear basis for planning replacements.

Simple housing swap

Because the bulb comes pre-assembled in the housing, installation is a matter of opening the projector lamp door, removing the old module, and inserting the new one until it seats. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the projector's lamp-hour counter after the swap, which leaves the replacement timer inaccurate.

Questions about this item

What brightness does the 189W UHP bulb deliver once it is running in the projector?

The 189 watt UHP lamp provides the rated light output for the Acer X1230PS projector, matching the original specification for colour and white brightness.

What lamp interface does this module use and what does it limit?

The module plugs directly into the projector's proprietary lamp connector, which fixes power delivery to 189W and controls ignition timing.

Will the assembled housing fit the X1230PS without extra brackets?

Yes, the bulb comes pre-mounted in its housing to match the X1230PS lamp cavity exactly, so it slides in and locks with the original screws.
