Questions about this item

How do I install the MC.JN811.001 lamp module in my Acer X137WH projector, and what step do people often miss?

The module ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing; power off the projector, let it cool, remove the old lamp door, slide the new unit in until it clicks, then replace the door and reset the lamp timer in the menu.

When will I need to replace the Osram P-VIP 195W bulb, and does the housing get reused?

In standard mode the lamp lasts 5000 hours and 10000 hours in eco mode; the housing is not reused — you swap the entire module when the hour counter or dimming indicates end of life.

What is the first limit I hit during long sessions with the 195W lamp?

The 195W lamp generates significant heat, so the projector's thermal protection will trigger a shutdown if ventilation is blocked or filters are clogged before the lamp reaches its rated hours.
