Acorn H and C Metering Valve Assembly

The Acorn 2590-051-001 is a plastic H and C metering valve assembly designed for use with lavatories, showers, and combination lavatory and toilet valves. It provides a complete replacement kit for commercial or institutional plumbing fixtures requiring metered hot and cold water control.

Installation uses included mounting plate

The assembly includes a valve mounting plate, right-hand and left-hand valve bodies, water diaphragms, metering servomotors, and a mixing tee. SS braided supply hoses with nylon compression nuts, O-rings, retainer clips, and screws are also supplied. Misalignment of the mounting plate or cross-threading the compression nuts during fitting are the most common issues.

Verify fixture compatibility

Confirm the existing fixture accepts a metering valve assembly with separate hot and cold servomotors and a mixing tee. Check that the supply connections match the provided braided hoses and nylon compression nuts. This unit is not suited for installations requiring electronic sensor activation or battery-powered operation.
