Standalone duplicator copies USB, CF, SD or Memory Stick media to eight discs at up to 24× DVD speed
Targets 1 to 8
Model Multimedia DVD
The Acumen Disc AD08-MM is a standalone tower that copies flash media or optical discs to up to eight blank CDs or DVDs at once. It accepts USB drives, CompactFlash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick cards through dedicated slots plus a single source reader for disc-to-disc jobs. No computer, software or host connection is required for operation. The unit runs on 115-230 V AC power and shows status on a 20 x 2 LCD.
Moving from a single-burner workflow to this eight-target system cuts batch duplication time by running eight writers simultaneously at 24X DVD and 52X CD speeds. The jump is worth it when you regularly produce multiple identical discs for distribution, archiving or retail. Data moves at 33 MB/s from any supported flash slot or the source reader, keeping the writers fed without a PC bottleneck.
The duplicator fits a standard AC circuit and needs only blank media and a source — flash card, USB stick or master disc — to start copying. Multi-session technology merges several small flash sources onto one disc, while disc spanning automatically splits oversized flash content across multiple discs. It does not copy from disc back to flash media, so buyers needing that direction should look elsewhere. The tray-load design keeps media handling simple.

Other versions of this model
The unit runs on an internal AC supply rated for 115-230 V at 50/60 Hz, so it plugs directly into a standard mains socket without an external adapter.
Insert the source media into the single reader ROM or a flash-media slot, load blank discs into the eight writer trays, then press the copy button on the 20 x 2 LCD menu; the step users skip is confirming the correct source slot before starting.
The eight DVD writer drives and the single reader ROM are mechanical components that wear over time; the tray-loading mechanism and the LCD display may also require service after extended operation.
