Double-DIN Head Unit with Wireless CarPlay

This 7-inch touchscreen receiver adds smartphone integration to a double-DIN dashboard opening. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto let you access maps, music and calls without plugging in. Bluetooth 5.0 handles hands-free calls and audio streaming. An EQ adjustment function and Mirror Link screen projection are also included.

Drivers Who Want Wireless Phone Mirroring

Suits motorists who prefer a cable-free CarPlay or Android Auto experience and want to keep hands on the wheel using SWC. Not for vehicles without a double-DIN slot or for buyers who need a wired-only connection, HDMI input or built-in navigation maps.

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Compatibility

The decisive spec is the simultaneous support for wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto on the same unit. If your phone and vehicle support these protocols, the head unit will connect without cables. If either protocol is missing from your phone, the wireless feature cannot be used.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the steering-wheel controls to this head unit, and which wire is most often missed?

Connect the SWC wire to your vehicle's steering-wheel control output; the step most people miss is programming the button mapping in the head unit settings after the physical connection is made.

What maintenance will the included backup camera need over time?

Clean the camera lens periodically and check the wiring harness for corrosion or loose connections, especially after winter road-salt exposure.

What is the first limitation you hit when using Bluetooth 5.0 audio for long trips?

Sustained streaming range drops if the phone moves too far from the head unit, and audio may compress if the connection encounters interference.
