A 1 meter replacement flex cable for Raspberry Pi Camera boards, extending the stock 150mm length
This one-metre flex cable replaces the stock 150 mm ribbon on classic or NoIR Raspberry Pi camera boards. It measures 1 metre by 16 mm by 0.2 mm and weighs 7.5 g. The Raspberry Pi and camera board are not included in the package.
Open the connector on the Pi carefully and slide the new cable in; the process is straightforward but requires gentle handling to avoid damaging the contacts. At 3.3 ft the longer run can pick up noise in electrically harsh environments, which may result in corrupted images.
The CSI protocol used by the camera is not designed for one-metre lengths, so image quality can degrade in noisy surroundings. Users who need reliable capture over longer distances should consider alternative connection methods rather than extending the flex cable further.

After sliding the cable into the Pi's connector, check that the camera initialises without errors and captures stable images; if frames appear corrupted in a noisy environment, try a shorter cable.
The box holds one 1 meter flex cable measuring 16 mm wide and 0.2 mm thick; you must supply your own Raspberry Pi board and Camera module.
The 1 meter cable replaces the stock 150 mm flex and works with classic or NoIR cameras on Model B or B+, but 3.3 ft may introduce corruption in electrically noisy settings.
