12-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. A 4TB NVMe SSD and 10TB hard drive provide high-capacity storage for large project files. Liquid cooling and an 850W power supply support the high-performance components in a mid-tower chassis.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 240mm liquid cooler maintains lower CPU temperatures during extended rendering or compilation sessions compared to air cooling. The Thermaltake 850W Bronze unit delivers stable power with over-voltage and short-circuit protection under continuous draw. Four 120mm front fans and a 140mm PSU fan move air through the Antec P20 case to manage GPU and motherboard heat over long periods.

Interface Practical Limits

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides two USB4 ports at 40Gbps and multiple 10Gbps and 5Gbps USB connections for fast peripheral transfers. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD reaches sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over its PCIe 4.0 x4 link. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet handle network traffic, while four M.2 slots allow future storage expansion within the platform's lane allocation.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9900X3D during all-day workloads?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for low-noise operation while handling the 12-core CPU up to 5.50 GHz, and the case includes three 120 mm front fans plus a 140 mm PSU fan for steady airflow.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to use the RTX 5060 8 GB graphics card?

The RTX 5060 connects via PCI Express x16 and provides standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, so a monitor with DisplayPort or HDMI input and the matching cable are all that is required.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5-inch hard drives fit inside the Antec P20 case alongside the 10 TB drive?

Yes, the case offers two internal 3.5"/2.5" bays and two additional 2.5" bays, and the motherboard provides four SATA 6 Gb/s ports for extra drives.
