Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 RAM and a dual-drive storage layout combining a 1TB SATA SSD with a 2TB hard drive. A 120mm AIO liquid cooler and 750W power supply complete the core hardware.

Suited For High-Memory Workloads

This system suits users who need a large 128GB DDR4 memory capacity for content creation, virtualisation or heavy multitasking alongside 4K gaming performance. The 1TB SATA SSD provides solid boot and application speeds, while the 2TB hard drive adds bulk storage. Buyers who need faster solid-state throughput or additional M.2 slots should verify the motherboard layout before purchase.

Primary Storage Uses SATA Interface

The boot drive is a 1TB SATA SSD rather than a PCIe-based alternative, so peak sequential transfer rates are limited to the SATA interface maximum. This affects large-file copy times and game level loading compared to faster protocols. Confirm the storage interface matches your workflow requirements before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 120mm AIO liquid cooler need its coolant replaced?

The sealed 120mm AIO liquid cooler is maintenance-free and does not require coolant replacement.

Which component hits its limit first during sustained gaming loads?

The Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 GPU will reach its thermal or power ceiling before the 750W supply or the Ryzen 7 3700X.

How loud and hot does the system get when running all day?

The 120mm AIO keeps the Ryzen 7 3700X at low noise; the RX 6900 XT fans ramp up under load while the 750W PSU stays within its rated output.
