12-Core Ryzen 9 9900X3D Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. A 240mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside a CoolerMaster HAF 500 case. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Suited for modelling, rendering

The 8TB NVMe array and 10TB hard drive provide large local storage for datasets and project files. Builders who need more internal drive bays than the two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch slots available should consider a different chassis. Users without high-resolution texture or simulation requirements may find the specification excessive.

128GB DDR5 memory capacity

Four populated slots deliver 128GB of DDR5 with headroom to 192GB maximum supported by the X870 motherboard. This capacity determines whether the system can hold full scenes in RAM without paging to the NVMe drives.

Questions about this item

What case dimensions and internal bays does the CoolerMaster HAF 500 provide for this build?

The case measures 508 mm deep, 203 mm wide and 508 mm high and includes two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal drive bays.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The 240 mm AIO radiator attaches to the case fan mounts; the step often missed is orienting the pump block so the inlet and outlet tubes do not kink against the motherboard VRM heatsinks.

Which storage drives will need replacement first and what capacities are installed?

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs and one 10 TB HDD are installed; the mechanical HDD will typically reach its write-cycle limit before the SSDs.
