16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. A 1TB NVMe SSD provides primary storage. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed in a black mid-tower case.

Suits media creators and heavy multitaskers.

The 192GB memory capacity and 16-core CPU target video editing, 3D rendering and simultaneous workloads. Liquid cooling and an 850W power supply support sustained loads. Buyers needing a small-form-factor chassis or a lower core count should consider other configurations.

192GB DDR5 maximum memory decides fit

Four memory slots are populated to the platform maximum of 192GB, leaving no room for further RAM upgrades. If your applications require more system memory than this ceiling, this workstation cannot accommodate them.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 192 GB DDR5 configuration or a smaller memory option?

The system ships with 192 GB DDR5 already installed across four slots, which matches the motherboard maximum. There is no smaller option listed for this build.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X 5.70 GHz boost clock deliver in daily workloads?

Sixteen cores and 32 threads reach up to 5.70 GHz on boost, giving strong multi-thread throughput for rendering, compilation and heavy multitasking while the 240 mm liquid cooler keeps thermals in check.

How fast is the USB4 40 Gbps port on the X870 motherboard in practice?

The rear USB4 ports run at 40 Gbps, so compatible external NVMe enclosures or docks can approach the drive’s own 7450 MB/s read ceiling rather than being limited by the interface.
