32-Core Threadripper Workstation for AI Development

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 32GB GPU. It targets engineers and researchers who need sustained multi-threaded compute for simulation, rendering or large-model training. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 2TB NVMe boot drive.

Sustained Load Behaviour with 360mm Liquid Cooling

A 360mm AIO cooler and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply keep the 32-core CPU near its 5.4GHz boost during extended workloads. Dual Samsung 990 PRO SSDs deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s without throttling. The 10TB SATA HDD adds high-capacity bulk storage for datasets.

Compatibility Checklist for Existing Infrastructure

Verify that your rack or bench accommodates a 520mm deep by 245mm wide by 520mm high chassis with front and rear 120mm fans. The motherboard provides two USB4 Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and dual LAN ports for networking. Ensure your display cables match the GPU outputs and that peripheral power budgets fit the 1200W supply.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360mm liquid cooler and 140mm PSU fan under sustained 32-core load?

The CPU uses a 360mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 1200W PSU has an ultra-quiet 140mm fan rated for low noise.

Which display cables must I provide to use the RTX PRO 4500 32GB?

The card uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; cables are not included in the workstation box.

Will my existing SATA III 3.5-inch drives plug into the four spare 2.5-inch bays?

The case has four 2.5-inch bays and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports on the motherboard, so 2.5-inch SATA SSDs fit directly; 3.5-inch drives need adapters.
