Purpose-built workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX with an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 96GB GPU for AI training, rendering and simulation workloads. 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and 10TB of NVMe storage across three Samsung 990 PRO drives provide high-throughput capacity. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a platform built for sustained professional use.

Platform and power checks

Verify that your workflow can utilise 128 threads and 96GB of GPU memory before committing to this configuration. The sTR5 motherboard offers four M.2 slots, eight SATA ports and dual LAN, but expansion depends on your add-in cards. A 1600W 80+ Titanium PSU is fitted; confirm your facility power can support continuous draw at this level.

Sustained-load behaviour

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler and a 140mm PSU fan are designed to manage heat during extended compute runs. The Corsair 5000D Frame chassis moves air through front and rear 120mm fans while housing ten internal drive bays. Under prolonged multi-core and GPU load the system targets stable clocks without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Corsair 5000D case and what must I add myself?

The system ships fully assembled with a 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX, 64GB DDR5 ECC, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10TB, a 10TB SATA HDD, an RTX PRO 6000 96GB GPU, a 360mm liquid cooler, a 1600W 80+ Titanium PSU and Windows 11 Pro. No extra parts are required for operation.

Should I pick the 2TB, 4TB or 4TB NVMe drive as my boot volume?

The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO is the fastest single drive at up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, making it the natural choice for the OS and active projects. The two 4TB drives add 8TB of identical-speed scratch space.

How does the 64-core 3.2 GHz Threadripper with 256MB L3 cache behave in a real workload?

With 128 threads and a 5.4 GHz boost, the CPU delivers sustained multi-thread throughput for rendering, simulation and AI training, while the 360mm liquid cooler keeps thermals stable under continuous load.
