Liquid-cooled Threadripper workstation

This 2026 tower pairs a 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 360mm AIO liquid cooler. It targets professionals who need high core counts and error-correcting RAM for compute-intensive workloads such as rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis.

Installation notes for a pre-built tower

The system arrives fully assembled inside a Corsair 5000D FRAME case with the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply and all drives installed. Builders adding components later should note the motherboard provides four M.2 connectors, eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and multiple internal 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch bays for expansion.

Interface limits on storage and networking

The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD operates over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. The 10TB hard drive uses a SATA 6Gb/s interface. Wired networking is handled by a Marvell AQtion AQC113C controller supporting 10 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps speeds.
