Custom Threadripper 9960X workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 16GB graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and is built for professional workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity.

Verify power and case clearance before ordering

The system draws power from a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply and requires a standard mains connection. The Corsair 5000D frame measures 520mm deep by 245mm wide by 520mm high, so confirm your workspace accommodates these dimensions and that the rear I/O panel layout matches your peripheral cables.

Liquid CPU cooler and quiet 140mm PSU fan

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO handles the Threadripper 9960X thermal load while the power supply uses a 140mm fan rated for low noise. Front and rear 120mm case fans provide additional airflow, keeping component temperatures stable during sustained compute tasks.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with this workstation and what must I purchase separately?

The tower includes the Threadripper 9960X CPU, 512GB DDR5 ECC memory, two 4TB NVMe SSDs, a 10TB HDD, RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell 16GB graphics card, 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, 360mm liquid cooler, Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and a Corsair 5000D Frame case. No monitor, keyboard or mouse are included.

Should I choose the 512GB DDR5 ECC configuration or look for a different memory capacity?

The system ships with 512GB DDR5 ECC across eight DIMM slots on the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard, the maximum supported by the Threadripper 9960X platform. If your workloads need less capacity, the memory can be reduced at configuration time; otherwise this is the highest density available.

What does the 24-core 4.2GHz Threadripper 9960X deliver in this liquid-cooled tower?

The 24-core 48-thread processor reaches up to 5.3GHz boost under the 360mm AIO cooler, with 128MB L3 cache. Paired with 512GB DDR5 ECC, dual 4TB NVMe drives at 7450 MB/s read, and a 1200W Gold PSU, it sustains heavy multi-threaded workloads without thermal throttling.
