64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 32GB GPU. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need high core counts and large VRAM for simulation, rendering or AI workloads.

TRX50 Platform and Liquid Cooling

The system uses a Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard with dual LAN ports, multiple USB 3.2 and USB4 connections, four M.2 slots and eight SATA ports. A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply feeds every component. The Corsair 5000D case provides internal bays for additional drives and front-panel USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio.

Dual NVMe SSDs and High-Capacity HDD

A 2TB and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec for active projects. A 10TB SATA hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk storage for archives. Builders who need more than four M.2 devices or additional 2.5-inch bays must check the motherboard layout before expanding.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the 64-core Threadripper 9980X at its 5.4 GHz boost under sustained all-core load?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the Threadripper 9980X, but sustained 5.4 GHz on all 64 cores depends on workload and ambient temperature.

How loud is the 1200 W 80 Plus Gold PSU and the case fans when the workstation runs 24/7?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, and the Corsair 5000D includes one 120 mm front and one 120 mm rear fan for low-noise airflow.

Does the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard need any extra power cables beyond the 1200 W PSU?

The Thermaltake 1200 W 80 Plus Gold unit supplies all required connectors for the CPU, dual NVMe SSDs, 10 TB HDD and RTX PRO 4500 GPU.
