64-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX running at 3.2 GHz with 512 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. A 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply powers the system, which ships with Windows 11 Pro on a Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard inside a Corsair 5000D FRAME case.

Suits compute-heavy pipelines.

Engineers running large simulations, multi-GPU render farms or massive dataset analysis will use every core and the ECC memory protection. Buyers who need only web browsing, document editing or casual gaming will not benefit from the workstation-class architecture and should look at a mainstream desktop instead.

10 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD headroom

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 10 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity for archives. Workloads exceeding 512 GB of RAM or requiring more than the installed NVMe lanes will hit the platform limits.

Questions about this item

Do I need a display with USB-C or DisplayPort to use the RTX 5060 8 GB graphics card?

The RTX 5060 8 GB provides standard video outputs; connect any monitor with a compatible cable to see the Windows 11 Pro desktop.

Can the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard run my older SATA SSDs alongside the three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives?

Yes, the motherboard includes eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports so existing SATA drives work with the 2 TB, 4 TB and 4 TB NVMe SSDs.

How can I verify the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX is boosting to 5.4 GHz under load?

Open Task Manager or a monitoring tool and watch the CPU frequency rise toward 5.4 GHz when all 128 threads are active.
