Business Workstation for CAD and Simulation

This desktop is built for engineers and designers running SolidWorks, CAM and CAE workloads. A 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor and 192 GB of DDR5 memory feed the Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU with 96 GB of video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and liquid CPU cooling in a Corsair 4000D chassis.

Suits GPU-accelerated modelling.

The single RTX PRO 6000 96 GB card covers large assemblies and simulation datasets, while the 2 TB NVMe SSD and 10 TB HDD keep active projects and archives local. Builders who need a second graphics card, a rackmount form factor or ECC system memory should look at a different platform.

192 GB DDR5 system memory caps total capacity

Four slots are populated to the motherboard maximum of 192 GB, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. The X870 AORUS board provides three M.2 connectors and four SATA ports for additional NVMe or SATA storage if the 10 TB hard drive fills.

Questions about this item

What motherboard and case clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need in this desktop?

The GIGABYTE X870 AORUS motherboard fits the AM5 socket and the Corsair 4000D case provides room for a 360 mm radiator with its 490 mm depth and 486 mm height.

Which power connectors must be attached to the RTX PRO 6000 96 GB GPU during installation?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1000 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU supplies the required PCIe power cables for the Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell graphics card.

How many DDR5 slots remain free for future memory upgrades after the 192 GB is installed?

All four DDR5 slots on the X870 AORUS board are populated to reach 192 GB, so adding more memory later would require replacing existing modules.
