Liquid-cooled Threadripper workstation

The Adamant Custom Business Desktop integrates a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor clocked at 4.2GHz with a 360mm liquid cooler, 512GB DDR5 ECC memory, 1TB NVMe SSD, 10TB SATA HDD and an Nvidia RTX A400 GPU with four Mini DisplayPort outputs, all driven by a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply in a Corsair 5000D Frame tower running Windows 11 Pro.

Suited for multi-threaded simulation

The 24-core CPU and half-terabyte ECC RAM serve engineers running large render queues, scientific batches or dense VM fleets; the single-slot RTX A400 covers professional viewport and multi-display needs without occupying extra slots. Buyers who need more than 4GB GPU memory or double-precision compute should look at something else.

512GB DDR5 ECC capacity

The motherboard provides eight DIMM slots populated to 512GB; this is the ceiling for this configuration and determines whether the system can hold the working sets your jobs require.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit inside the Corsair 5000D case dimensions of 520 x 245 x 520 mm?

Yes. The case measures 520 mm wide and 520 mm high, providing ample clearance for the 360 mm radiator and its fans in a standard front or top mount.

Does the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard require any special steps when seating the sTR5 Threadripper 9960X processor?

The sTR5 socket uses a torque-controlled retention frame; the common mistake is tightening the screws unevenly. Follow the diagonal sequence and torque spec in the motherboard manual to avoid poor contact.

When should the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply be considered for replacement in a continuously running workstation?

Under 24/7 load, electrolytic capacitors typically age after five to seven years. Plan a proactive swap around that interval to maintain stable power for the 24-core CPU and RTX A400.
