Core specification

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 64GB DDR5 and a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides primary storage. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2 connectivity.

Platform limits

The Z790 motherboard supports up to 192 GB of DDR5 across four slots and offers four M.2 connectors plus six SATA 6Gb/s ports. Rear I/O includes one USB Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports alongside 2.5Gb Ethernet. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit powers the build.

Upgrade context

The 64GB DDR5 kit fills half the board capacity, leaving room for memory expansion without replacing modules. The single RTX 5060 Ti occupies one PCIe slot; builders who need a second card must verify case clearance and power headroom. The 4TB NVMe drive uses one of four M.2 sockets, so additional high-speed storage can be added internally.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64 GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory now?

The system ships with 64 GB of DDR5 across four slots; the motherboard supports up to 192 GB total, so you have room to expand later if workloads demand it.

What does the i9-14900K 3.2 GHz base clock deliver in actual use?

The 24-core, 32-thread CPU can boost up to 6.00 GHz, giving strong single-thread speed for gaming and heavy multi-thread throughput for rendering or compilation.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB NVMe drive over PCIe 4.0?

Sequential reads reach 7450 MB/s and writes reach 6900 MB/s, so game loads, asset streaming and large file transfers stay consistently quick.
