Purpose-built workstation desktop

This Adamant Custom system pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X with 192GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The combination targets professionals who need compute headroom for rendering, simulation or large-model workloads alongside high-fidelity gaming. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed on a 1TB NVMe SSD.

Thermals and power

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply feeds the whole platform. The Corsair 4000D chassis moves air through a 140mm fan rated for low noise. Liquid cooling keeps the processor near its 5.50 GHz boost ceiling without the acoustic penalty of a tower air cooler.

Deciding specification

The 192GB DDR5 capacity fills every slot on the PRIME X870-P motherboard and matches the board’s supported maximum. Buyers who need more memory must choose a different platform. The single 1TB NVMe drive leaves three M.2 slots open for storage expansion.

Questions about this item

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted to the AM5 socket and which step is often missed?

The cooler uses the standard AM5 backplate and four spring screws; the step people skip is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before tightening.

What component will need replacement first and when?

The 140 mm PSU fan is the only moving part not backed by a liquid loop; expect to swap it after several years of continuous operation.

Which limit appears first during a sustained all-core load?

The CPU reaches its maximum boost frequency of 5.50 GHz and holds it until the 240 mm radiator equilibrates, after which clocks settle lower.
