Core specification

This desktop ships with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive. A GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GPU and a 240mm liquid cooler complete the core hardware. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suitability

The 64GB DDR5 capacity suits creators who keep large assets in memory and multitask across demanding applications. Buyers who need more than 192GB of total system memory or who require multiple GPU slots should look at a different platform.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 64GB DDR5 memory capacity paired with the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X. This combination determines whether the system can hold your active datasets without paging to the NVMe drive.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 240 mm liquid cooler require?

The Corsair 4000D chassis measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high, giving ample room for the 240 mm radiator and 140 mm fan.

Which motherboard power connectors must be seated for the Ryzen 7 9700X?

The PRIME X870-P board needs the 24-pin ATX plug and the 8-pin EPS CPU cable from the Thermaltake 750 W unit; missing the EPS connector is the common oversight.

How many M.2 slots remain free for future SSD upgrades?

The board provides four M.2 connectors and one is occupied by the Samsung 990 PRO, leaving three open slots for additional NVMe drives.
