Core configuration

This gaming desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 192 GB of DDR5 memory and a liquid-cooled Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. A 1 TB NVMe SSD and a 10 TB hard drive provide both speed and capacity. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Who this suits

Builders who need high core counts for rendering or compilation and want a quiet 360 mm liquid cooler will appreciate the thermal headroom. Buyers who want more video memory than the 8 GB on this card, or who require a second GPU slot, should look at a different configuration.

Deciding specification

The graphics card includes 8 GB of memory, which limits texture capacity at 4K resolution in current titles. If your workload demands more frame-buffer space, this specification makes the system the wrong choice.

Questions about this item

Does the 192 GB DDR5 kit fill all four slots on the PRIME X870-P board, or are any DIMM slots left open for future upgrades?

The 192 GB DDR5 kit occupies all four DIMM slots on the PRIME X870-P motherboard, so no slots remain free for additional memory.

With the 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe already installed, can I still add another M.2 drive using the board's remaining connectors?

Yes, the PRIME X870-P provides four M.2 connectors in total, so three slots remain available after the factory-installed 1 TB NVMe drive.

The RTX 5060 ships with 8 GB of video memory — is that enough for 1440p gaming in current titles?

The 8 GB frame buffer on the RTX 5060 handles 1440p gaming in most current titles at high settings, though texture-heavy games may require lowering texture quality.
