Pilum desktop for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking

The Velztorm Pilum pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X with a Radeon RX 6900 XT carrying 16GB GDDR6. 128GB DDR4 and a 1TB NVMe drive plus a 1TB hard drive give ample space for large game libraries and creative workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. Buyers who need more than 128GB of memory or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Thermals and acoustics with 120mm AIO liquid cooler

A 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler handles the CPU while RGB fans move air through the black chassis. The 750W power supply feeds the 6900 XT and the rest of the system without extra cables. In typical gaming sessions the liquid loop keeps temperatures steady and fan noise stays in the background.

Connectivity and day-to-day layout

The rear panel supplies USB 3.1 Gen1, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI, one DisplayPort, a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port, plus microphone and headphone jacks. Network access comes from 802.11n Wi-Fi and a wired RJ-45 link. No Bluetooth or optical drive is included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case fan slots, attach the pump block to the Ryzen 7 3700X with the pre-applied paste, then connect the pump header and fan cable to the motherboard; the step often missed is plugging the pump into the dedicated AIO header instead of a standard fan header.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed loop requires no coolant refills; plan to clean dust from the radiator fins and RGB fans every 6–12 months and replace the unit only if pump noise appears or CPU temperatures rise under load.

What limit appears first on the 750W power supply during sustained gaming?

Continuous draw from the Radeon RX 6900 XT and 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X can approach the 750W rating, so the protection circuit may trigger a shutdown before thermals become an issue.
