24-Core Workstation for Rendering and AI

This desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on a 4TB NVMe SSD.

Samsung 990 PRO SSD and 360mm Liquid Cooler

The bundled Samsung 990 PRO drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link. A 360mm quiet-edition AIO liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the Ceres 300 case provides front and rear 140mm fans rated at 1500rpm and 30dBA.

PCIe 4.0 Storage Ceiling and 850W Bronze Power

The 4TB NVMe drive operates at the PCIe 4.0 interface limit, so faster Gen 5 drives would not run at their rated speed on this platform. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU caps sustained power delivery, which may restrict future GPU upgrades that demand higher wattage.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler or the 192 GB DDR5 memory need replacement first?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler contains a pump and seals that can wear after several years of continuous operation, while the 192 GB DDR5 memory is solid-state and rarely fails; plan to inspect the cooler every two to three years.

What thermal limit appears first when the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K runs at 5.70 GHz all day?

The CPU will hit its thermal throttle point before the 850 W Bronze PSU reaches its rated output, so sustained 5.70 GHz loads are constrained by the 360 mm cooler's heat dissipation capacity.

How loud are the 140 mm case fans at 1500 rpm during an all-day render?

Each 140 mm fan is rated at 30 dBA at 1500 rpm; with three fans running the combined noise stays in the low-30 dBA range, which is quiet enough for a typical home office.
