Core specification

This system ships with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7 GHz with up to 5.20 GHz boost and 96 MB L3 cache. It is paired with 32 GB of DDR5 memory in a four-slot layout that supports up to 192 GB total. A 240 mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside the Antec P20 mid-tower case.

Storage layout

A 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for the operating system and active games. A 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache provides bulk capacity for media and archives. Builders who need more than two M.2 slots populated or who prefer an all-flash array should look at a different configuration.

Graphics card

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 12 GB of video memory connects through a PCI Express x16 slot on the PRIME X870-P motherboard. It is powered by an 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze unit with a 140 mm fan. Buyers who require more VRAM or a higher-tier GPU for 4K ultra settings should consider another model.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler need its coolant topped up or the pump replaced later?

The 240 mm AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant top-ups are required and the pump is not user-serviceable.

What component hits its thermal limit first during extended gaming sessions?

The RTX 5070 12 GB GPU typically reaches its power and temperature ceiling before the liquid-cooled Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

How loud is the system when the 850 W PSU fan and case fans run all day?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W uses a 140 mm low-noise fan and the Antec P20 case includes three 120 mm front fans for quiet sustained airflow.
