8-core workstation for CAD and AI

The system pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU and 64GB DDR5 memory. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. It targets engineers and researchers who need certified drivers for SolidWorks modelling and local AI learning workloads.

Sustained load with liquid cooling

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at its 4.7GHz base clock during long render or simulation runs. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers stable power through extended sessions. The X870 motherboard provides PCI Express x16 graphics bandwidth and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity for uninterrupted data transfer.

Pop Air case with front I/O and expansion

The black tempered-glass chassis measures 474 x 215 x 454 mm and includes front USB 3.0 ports plus audio jacks. Internal bays hold two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives alongside the 1TB NVMe SSD and 10TB HDD. Four M.2 slots and multiple rear USB 40Gbps, 10Gbps and 5Gbps ports allow future storage and peripheral growth.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 240 mm liquid cooler and the 140 mm PSU fan stay when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D runs at 4.7 GHz all day?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the Thermaltake Smart 850 W PSU with its 140 mm ultra-quiet fan are both specified for low noise, so sustained 4.7 GHz operation remains quiet.

Which display cables must I already own to use the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell 32 GB GPU?

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell uses a PCI Express x16 slot; you will need DisplayPort or HDMI cables that match the monitors you plan to connect.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5″ hard drives when moving to this X870 motherboard?

Yes, the TUF X870-PLUS provides two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case includes two internal 3.5″ bays, so current SATA drives fit directly.
