Liquid-cooled Ryzen 7 9800X3D desktop

This gaming desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a 240 mm liquid cooler and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a 1 TB NVMe SSD and a 10 TB hard drive for large game libraries. The Corsair 4000D tempered-glass case houses a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Built for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking

The combination of 96 MB L3 cache, 16 GB GPU memory and fast PCIe 4.0 storage suits players who want high frame rates at 4K resolution and creators who run memory-hungry workloads. Buyers who need more than 32 GB of RAM out of the box or who prefer air cooling should consider other configurations. The four DIMM slots allow expansion up to 192 GB later.

RTX 5080 with 16 GB VRAM decides fit

The graphics card provides 16 GB of video memory on a PCI Express x16 interface, which determines whether the system can handle the target resolution and texture quality in modern titles. If a workflow demands more VRAM or a different GPU architecture, this desktop will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the PCI Express x16 slot run at Gen 4 or Gen 5 speeds with the RTX 5080?

The RTX 5080 uses a PCI Express x16 interface; the X870 motherboard supports PCIe 5.0 on the primary slot, so the card will operate at Gen 5 bandwidth.

What case clearance is required for the 240 mm liquid cooler radiator?

The Corsair 4000D case fits a 240 mm radiator in the front or top; allow 240 mm length plus fan thickness and check motherboard heatsink height.

How is Windows 11 Pro activated on this system, and what step do buyers often miss?

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed; connect to the internet on first boot so the digital licence activates automatically — skipping this leaves the OS unactivated.
