Workstation for CAD and AI

This business desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell graphics card. The system includes 128GB DDR5 memory, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive. A 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply support sustained workloads.

Suited to modelling and learning tasks

Engineers running SolidWorks assemblies and developers training local models will benefit from the GPU's 32GB frame buffer and the CPU's 96MB L3 cache. Buyers who need more than 192GB total memory or a dual-socket platform should consider other configurations.

32GB GPU memory decides fit

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell provides 32GB of video memory, which determines whether large datasets and complex scenes stay resident on the card. If your workflow demands more GPU memory, this workstation will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 240 mm liquid cooler and the PSU fan run when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX PRO 4500 are under sustained load?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the Thermaltake Smart 850 W PSU both use ultra-quiet 140 mm fans designed for low noise, so acoustic output stays subdued even during long workstation sessions.

Which display cables must I already have to connect a monitor to the RTX PRO 4500 graphics card?

The RTX PRO 4500 uses a PCI Express x16 interface; you will need a DisplayPort or HDMI cable compatible with your chosen monitor, as no video cable is included in the box.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs or hard drives and install them alongside the 4 TB NVMe and 10 TB HDD already fitted?

Yes, the TUF X870-PLUS motherboard provides two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the Corsair 4000D case has two 3.5" and two 2.5" internal bays free for extra SATA drives.
