Target Workstation

This business desktop is built for engineers and researchers running SolidWorks assemblies, large-scale rendering or AI model training. The 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X and 192 GB of DDR5 give the multi-threaded headroom those workloads demand. Buyers who need a second GPU or more than 192 GB of memory should look at a dual-socket platform.

Graphics Memory Decides Fit

The RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell ships with 48 GB of VRAM, the single spec that determines whether a dataset fits in GPU memory or spills to system RAM. A 1 TB NVMe drive and 10 TB hard drive provide fast active storage and deep archival capacity. The X870 motherboard adds USB4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at boost clocks during long compiles or simulations without thermal throttling. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply delivers stable power to the GPU and all drives under continuous load. Rear-panel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 maintain network throughput for distributed jobs.

Questions about this item

What does the 12-core 4.4 GHz Ryzen 9 9900X deliver in daily SolidWorks modelling?

The 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X runs at a 4.4 GHz base clock and can boost to 5.20 GHz with 96 MB of L3 cache, giving strong single-thread speed for interactive CAD work and enough threads for background simulation tasks.

How fast can the Samsung 990 PRO 1 TB NVMe drive actually move data over its PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

The PCIe 4.0 x4 interface caps the drive at the quoted 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, so large project loads and texture streaming run at those speeds in practice.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and RTX PRO 5000 48 GB card both fit in the Pop Air case?

The case measures 474 x 215 x 454 mm with front 120 mm fan mounts that accept a 240 mm radiator, and the full-length PCIe x16 slot clears the RTX PRO 5000 without interference.
