Workstation for CAD and CAE modelling

This desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D running at 4.4 GHz with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell carrying 32 GB of video memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 system memory and an 8 TB NVMe array feed large assemblies without swapping. Liquid cooling keeps the processor steady during long simulation runs.

Upgrade from older workstation CPUs and entry GPUs

The jump is worthwhile when single-thread speed and 128 MB of L3 cache cut rebuild times on complex feature trees. Buyers still relying on quad-core chips or consumer graphics cards with 8 GB VRAM will see the clearest gains. Shops that only open small parts or 2D drawings will not need this headroom.

Capacity and headroom for large datasets

The 8 TB NVMe RAID holds active projects and scratch files at up to 7 450 MB/s read, while a 10 TB hard drive archives finished work. System memory expands to 192 GB when models outgrow the factory 32 GB. The 850 W supply and X870 platform leave PCIe lanes for future capture or network cards.
