Ryzen 9 9950X workstation

This desktop pairs a sixteen-core Ryzen 9 9950X with 192 GB of DDR5 memory and a twelve-gigabyte RTX A2000 graphics card. A 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained loads while the system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Engineers and creators who need certified drivers

The professional GPU and high core count suit CAD, CAM and CAE workflows that rely on ISV-certified drivers. Buyers who want more storage bays or multiple graphics cards should look at a larger chassis.

4 TB NVMe plus 10 TB hard drive

The Samsung 990 PRO delivers up to 7 450 MB/s reads and 6 900 MB/s writes for active projects while the ten-terabyte mechanical drive stores archives. Four memory slots are fully populated at 192 GB, so further RAM upgrades require module replacement.

Questions about this item

Does the motherboard expose the four M.2 slots that the 4 TB NVMe drive occupies?

The TUF X870-PLUS board provides four M.2 connectors, so the Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB NVMe drive uses one of them and three remain free for future expansion.

Can the 850 W power supply handle the RTX A2000 together with the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X under full load?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit is rated for the combined draw of the 12 GB RTX A2000 and the 16-core CPU, with 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency and protection circuits for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit.

How can I verify the 192 GB DDR5 kit is running at its rated speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager or the BIOS on the X870 motherboard and confirm the memory shows 192 GB detected with the DDR5 data rate matching the kit specification.
