Core specification

The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X reaches 5.70 GHz and drives the RTX 5070 with 12GB memory. 128GB DDR5 and a 4TB NVMe SSD at 7450 MB/s read handle heavy workloads. A 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable. Windows 11 Pro is installed.

Target audience and limits

Creators and developers who need high thread counts, large memory and fast local storage will use every resource. Buyers who only play games at 1080p do not need this much compute or capacity. Systems without liquid cooling or with smaller power supplies cannot match this thermal headroom.

Deciding specification

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. Projects that stream large assets or compile huge code bases benefit directly. Workloads that fit on a smaller drive or run mostly from network storage will not see the same advantage.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 360 mm liquid cooler and the 140 mm PSU fan run under sustained load?

The CPU uses a 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 850 W PSU has a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, so both are designed for low noise during long sessions.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need for the RTX 5070?

The RTX 5070 12 GB card provides modern display outputs; you will need a monitor with a matching input such as DisplayPort or HDMI and the appropriate cable.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5-inch hard drives fit inside the Corsair 4000D case?

The case includes two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays plus four SATA 6 Gb/s ports on the motherboard, so current SATA drives can be installed directly.
