16-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It targets professionals who need strong multi-threaded compute for editing, rendering and modelling alongside high-fidelity gaming performance.

PCIe 4.0 Storage Interface

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drive connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. The motherboard provides three M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports for additional drives, while the 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply sets the overall power envelope.

192GB Memory Ceiling

Four DDR5 slots are populated to the platform maximum of 192GB, leaving no room for further memory expansion. The 10TB hard drive adds bulk storage for large project libraries, yet the single GPU configuration limits multi-GPU rendering workflows and the mid-tower chassis restricts the number of internal drive bays.

Questions about this item

How should I decide between the 4 TB NVMe SSD and the 10 TB HDD for my main storage?

Use the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO for the operating system, active projects and games — its sequential reads reach 7450 MB/s and writes 6900 MB/s. Keep the 10 TB hard drive for bulk archives, media libraries and backups where capacity matters more than speed.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X’s 5.70 GHz boost clock mean for everyday workloads?

The 16-core, 32-thread processor runs at a 4.3 GHz base and can lift single threads to 5.70 GHz when thermal headroom allows, so lightly threaded tasks such as game logic or UI response stay snappy while all cores chew through rendering or compile jobs.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x4 link on the motherboard mean for the 4 TB NVMe drive?

The M.2 slot is wired for PCIe 4.0 x4, so the Samsung 990 PRO can saturate its rated 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds; a PCIe 3.0 or x2 link would cap throughput well below those figures.
