Custom 16-Core Workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GPU. The system targets professionals who need simultaneous rendering, modelling and AI learning performance alongside high-frame-rate gaming. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 8TB NVMe array.

Liquid Cooling and 1200W Gold PSU

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit with a 140mm low-noise fan delivers stable power. Front-panel dust filters on the Antec P20 mid-tower help maintain airflow without raising acoustic levels during extended workloads.

Upgrade From Air-Cooled 8-Core Builds

The jump is worth it when projects exceed 64GB memory limits or when dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives at 7450 MB/s read replace slower SATA storage. Buyers who need more than 10TB bulk capacity or a second GPU should plan a different chassis.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler mounted in the Antec P20 case, and what step is often missed?

The radiator fits at the top of the case using the included brackets; the step many builders skip is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the Ryzen 9 9950X.

Which component will need attention first as the system ages?

The 140 mm fan inside the 1200 W Thermaltake Toughpower Gold PSU is the only moving part not cooled by the liquid loop, so its bearings are the earliest wear item.

What limit appears first when the RTX 5090 32 GB runs sustained heavy workloads?

The 1200 W power supply caps total system draw, so the GPU will hit its power limit before the 360 mm radiator saturates.
