Built for simulation and rendering

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell graphics card carrying 48GB of video memory. 32GB of DDR5 system memory and an 8TB NVMe SSD give large assemblies and datasets room to breathe. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable during extended compute runs.

Suits engineers who need certified drivers

The workstation targets SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE workflows that rely on professional graphics drivers and 48GB of frame buffer. Buyers who only game or who need more than 32GB of system memory out of the box should look at a different configuration.

The deciding spec is the 48GB GPU memory

That frame buffer size determines whether your largest models fit in video memory without paging to system RAM. If your typical scene exceeds this capacity, the card will become the bottleneck regardless of CPU speed or storage throughput.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8 TB NVMe or the 10 TB HDD for my main SolidWorks projects?

The two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, so active project files load far faster than from the 10 TB hard drive.

What does the 4.3 GHz base clock mean once the Ryzen 9 9950X is inside this water-cooled tower?

The 16-core processor can boost up to 5.70 GHz under load while the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check for sustained CAD workloads.

What does the USB4 40 Gbps port on the X870 motherboard actually cap in practice?

Each of the two rear USB Type-C ports supports 40 Gbps throughput, enabling full-speed external NVMe enclosures or high-resolution display chains.
