Built for SolidWorks CAD CAM CAE modelling

This desktop workstation pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card. It includes 32GB DDR5 memory, two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives and a 10TB hard drive. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and uses a 360mm liquid cooler inside a Corsair 4000D tower.

Suits engineers who need certified drivers

The 24GB GPU frame buffer and 8TB of fast NVMe storage support complex assemblies and simulation workloads. Buyers who want more storage than the two populated M.2 slots and single 3.5-inch bay provide should look at a different platform. The fixed 850W power supply also limits future GPU upgrades.

The 24GB RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell frame buffer

Professional applications that exceed this video memory capacity will not run correctly on this card. The motherboard offers four M.2 connectors in total, but only two are occupied by the supplied Samsung 990 PRO drives. No optical drive bay is present.

Questions about this item

What USB4 bandwidth does the rear I/O provide?

Two USB4 Type-C ports run at 40Gbps each, capping external storage or dock throughput at that speed.

How large is the case and what drive bays does it include?

The Corsair 4000D measures 490 x 239 x 486 mm and has internal bays for two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives.

How is the CPU cooler mounted and what step is often missed?

The 360 mm AIO radiator screws to the case fan mounts; the pump head then fastens to the AM5 socket back-plate, and the step people forget is plugging the pump tach cable into the CPU_FAN header so the BIOS sees the cooler.
