Tower workstation for professional modelling

This system is built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor and Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics. It targets engineers and designers running SolidWorks CAD CAM CAE workloads. The 192GB DDR5 memory and liquid CPU cooler support sustained multi-threaded compute. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

192GB DDR5 at the motherboard limit

The Gigabyte X870 Eagle board accepts four modules and the build already populates every slot with 192GB total. Maximum supported capacity is also 192GB so no further memory upgrades are possible. Buyers who need more RAM must choose a different platform.

1TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage tier

A Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for active projects. The 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache provides deep archival capacity. Users requiring faster scratch space or redundant arrays will need external solutions.

Questions about this item

What does the 5.70 GHz boost on the Ryzen 9 9950X deliver inside this workstation?

The 16-core CPU can reach 5.70 GHz on active cores, giving faster single-thread response in CAD and simulation while the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps thermals stable under sustained multi-core loads.

Which PCIe generation does the 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO use and what throughput does that cap?

The drive runs on a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/s and writes to 6900 MB/s even though the X870 chipset supports newer standards.

Will the 360 mm AIO and the RTX PRO 2000 both fit in the Antec P10 FLUX case?

Yes, the mid-tower supports a 360 mm radiator up front and the graphics card clears the 477 mm depth with room for the front 120 mm fans and PSU shroud fan.
