Core specification

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop is built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor paired with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and uses a 360mm liquid cooler on the CPU.

Who this suits

The machine suits buyers who want a high-core-count AM5 workstation with large memory capacity and fast PCIe 4.0 storage out of the box. Users who require a discrete graphics card for hardware-accelerated rendering or compute workloads should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

Integrated AMD Radeon graphics provide the only video outputs: one HDMI port and two USB4 ports. If your workflow demands a dedicated GPU, this configuration will not meet that need without an additional purchase.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.3 GHz base clock of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D mean for everyday workloads?

The processor runs at 4.3 GHz across its 16 cores and 32 threads before any boost, giving strong multi-threaded throughput for rendering, compilation and heavy multitasking.

How fast can the USB4 ports on the X870 motherboard actually move data?

Each USB4 port is rated at 40 Gbps, so external NVMe enclosures or docks can approach PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds in practice.

Will a standard ATX power supply fit the Corsair 4000D case used in this build?

Yes, the 4000D accepts standard ATX units; the included Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit is an ATX form-factor supply.
