Liquid-cooled workstation desktop

This tower system pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load. The machine ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and is marketed as AI ready.

DDR5 memory ceiling at 192 GB

Four memory slots support DDR5 modules up to a combined 192 GB capacity. The board provides four M.2 connectors for NVMe expansion alongside two SATA ports. Rear I/O includes USB4 at 40 Gbps, multiple 10 Gbps and 5 Gbps ports, plus 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Dual 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives

Storage consists of two PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs rated for 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, totalling 8 TB. No mechanical hard drives or optical bays are populated. The 1000 W 80 Plus Gold power supply delivers power to the platform.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5 configuration or upgrade to the 192 GB maximum supported by the X870 motherboard?

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR5 across four slots. The X870 board supports up to 192 GB, so you can add three more modules later if workloads such as large-language-model inference or heavy video editing demand more capacity.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X3D’s 5.70 GHz boost clock deliver in actual gaming and creative workloads?

Sixteen cores and 32 threads running up to 5.70 GHz with 128 MB of L3 cache keep frame rates high in CPU-bound titles and accelerate multi-threaded rendering, compilation and simulation tasks without thermal throttling thanks to the 360 mm liquid cooler.

How do the two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives on PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots perform for game loading and project streaming?

Each drive reaches 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, so the combined 8 TB NVMe array loads massive game assets and scrubs 8K timelines at near-peak PCIe 4.0 bandwidth.
